UPRIGHT PIANO, GABRIEL GAVEAU, ART NOUEAU STYLE

Upright piano of walnut veneer, mark of Gabriel Gaveau, Art Nouveau Style.

Model A "Soleil". N°668 (circa 1920).

Keyboard on columned console with foliated crooks.
Two mobile, double-bracket sconces and brass, lateral handles.
Out of tune and dusty mechanism but in good condition.
Small accidents on the veneer.

Gabriel was one of the sons of the famed Joseph Gaveau. Having disagreements, he founded his own venture in 1911 which produced quality pianos.
