Three boxes with marquetry, 19th Century


Rectangular burr wood-veneered box with brass and mother of pearl threading marquetry. Lid top and facade ornated with shapely cartouches with foliage motifs.
Napoleon III Era.

Transformed, formerly a small liquor cabinet. Accidents.

Rectangular ebonized wood jewelry case atop four small patin feet with marquetry decoration of brass, tortoise shell and bone. Ornamentation of threading, cartouches and foliage scrollwork. Interior lined with pink silk with Chinese motifs, presented with pigeon hole, drawer and festooned curtains like a theater.

Height: 17 cm (6-1/2 in.) - Width: 35 cm (13-3/4 in.) - Depth: 25 cm (9-3/4 in.).
One replaced foot. Minor accidents and losses.
