Soft paste porcelain gobelet bouillard (large cup) and saucer with polychrome floral decoration. Gilt dental rim on cup and saucer’s exterior and interior border. Gilt outlining. Marked with two blue interlacing L’s and dating letter R underneath for 1770

Painter’s signature on saucer of Madame Noualhier, flower painter, active from 1762-1798

Height of cup: 6 cm (2-1/3 in.) - Diameter of saucer: 13 cm (5 in.).
