Since 1860, the European political influence reached the Orient and inspired "Japonisme" which draws from the repertory of China and Japan, influencing the ensemble of French decorative arts in the second half of the 20th Century.
Lièvre, Viardot, Christofle , l'Escalier de Cristal and Barbedienne are some of the names that conveyed and spread this decorative style. Our pendulum clock follows this style and calls forth the works of the Maison Barbedienne.
