Large, silver sugar-vase

Large sugar-vase of molten and chiseled silver designed as a Medici vase with perforated friezes; winged Zephyr on his swan chariot among reeds.
Handles designed as cornucopia.
Squared base perforated with palmettes, atop four spheres.
Cover initialed L.D. and laurel crown knop.

Maker's mark of old man (1819-1838) and maker's mark of the Master silversmith is illegible.

Translucent pink glass lining.
