Flintlock infantry rifle, French Revolutionary production and one bayonet


Round barrel with lugs, flat-bodied plate and hammer, brass breech, iron accessories, some are marked. Full-bodied walnut stock with Chatellerault mark and stock seal dated 1846, and iron ramrod.

Fairly good condition (minor chips and splits on wood).

Notes: This French Revolutionary produced rifle was re-used by the National Guard during the July Monarchy.

Total length: 1.44 m (4-2/3 ft.). Length of barrel: 1.08 m (3-1/2 ft.)
