Fan, 18th Century

Fan with twenty-two gilt ivory sticks with openwork decoration of scrollwork and figures. Main sticks were formerly of mother-of-pearl layering. Polychrome leaf ornated with scene of "Moses rescued from Nile" within a flower surrounding. Verso decorated with flower sprays.
